Even though its only a minute long, the cinematic trailer for Bioshock Infinite is so fantastically made and successful is not only because of how well animated and made it is, but how it's able to seamlessly blend and combine multiple aspects of both the environment and characters of the game, with game play mechanics, foes, and the whole general aesthetic of the game. In the short amount of time there is in the trailer, the audience is given a good idea of what the world the game takes place in is like and how it might work from a worldbuilding standpoint, the audience knows who the main characters are and how they seem to fit into this world, and the audience knows what encounters they might have, how they may traverse these encounters, and how the two characters might work together, all with very little dialogue and a very short run time. This trailer not only looks beautifully done, but its also intriguing, giving the audience enough information for them to get a decent first grasp at what the game might be about and how it might be played, as well as what it will look like, enough to get the audience to want to know more, without giving away too much information that the audience might not understand or want to know. The trailer is visually appealing, intriguing, and gives the audience a solid and interesting grasp of the game that makes them want to play it and know more about the story.
